On May 21, 2023, the Russian Education Fair 2023 came to a close in Mumbai, with the distinguished presence of notable personalities. Among them were H.E. Mr. Aleksei V. Surovtsev, the Consul General of Russia in Mumbai, Prof. Shvetsov Mikhail N., the Rector of Mari State University, Ms. Elena Remizova, the Director of the Russian House in Mumbai, Air Marshal (Dr.) Pawan Kapoor (Retd.), the Vice-Chairman of Rus Education, and other esteemed senior members of the organization. Their attendance added prestige to the event and further emphasized the significance of the fair in strengthening educational ties between Russia and India.
The fair provided a platform for students and parents to connect with representatives from top Russian universities. The majority of attendees at the event were aspiring to pursue MBBS and other educational programs in Russia. They gathered to seek information about universities and the admission process to get into the university. Prof. Liashchenko Diana, Professor of the Department of Anatomy, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Orenburg State Medical University graciously assisted the Indian aspirants, answered all their questions and guided them during the fair. A significant number of enthusiastic students and parents interested in exploring opportunities for various courses in Russia interacted with the Professor and even enrolled for the MBBS program at the university.
