On February 10, 2024, Orenburg State Medical University hosted the I-See Radathon, a Federal Olympiad in radiology diagnostics to enhance medical education for foreign students at medical universities in Russia. The event was organized through a collaboration of Russian medical Universities with Rus Education. The esteemed jury comprised experts in radiation diagnostics, anatomy, and therapy, along with experts from India.
Prof. Shekhtman Alexander Gennadievich - Head of the Department of Radiology and Radiation Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences; Prof. Mironchev Anton Olegovich - Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Students, Ph.D.; Prof. Lyashchenko Diana Nailevna - Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Head of the Department of Human Anatomy, Doctor of Medical Sciences; Prof. Malygina Olga Yakovlevna - Associate Professor of the Department of Radiology and Radiation Medicine, Candidate of Medical Sciences, doctor of the highest qualification category, radiologist of the X-ray department of the State Autonomous Institution of Health Organization OOKOD; Safronova Yulia Valerievna - candidate of medical sciences, doctor of the highest qualification category, radiologist of the X-ray department of GAUZ OOKOD; And also experts from India including Dr. Khaleel - MD Radiology, director of ARISE Medical Academy; and Dr. Priyansh Jain - MD Therapy, ARISE Medical Academy, partook at the event, making it even more a successful Olympiad.
During the Olympiad, participants exhibited exceptional talents and subject knowledge, with multiple teams joyously celebrating their victories.
1st place- team of Orenburg State Medical University Scan Squad of OrSMU (Shubham Pothanapalli, Saumyajyoti Mukherjee, K-Prazwala Rani, Bedika Baruah, Anjali Rithal)
2nd place- team of Perm State Medical University RadPerm (Sneha Gaokar, Sidhart Raj, Aditya Saini, Piyush Barwal, Harshit Sharma)
3rd place- the team of the Mari State University MarSU Diagnose Team, who also received a prize for the best video (Divyansh Kumar, Kamel Diab, Aryan Singh, Manish Landage)
