The new batch of Indian students on their way to Orenburg State Medical University participated in the pre-departure ceremony, Sobraniye 2022. Rus Education and Russian House in New Delhi jointly hosted the ceremony on Tuesday, 27th September 2022 at Kamani Auditorium.
The evening celebration was joined by the chief presence of Lt Gen Daljit Singh, VSM, Director General Medical Services (Indian Army) & Sr Col Comdt. He was accompanied by the warm presence of Mr Oleg Osipov, Director, Russian House in New Delhi; Shri Nirmal Kumar Bhagat, Director, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare; Dr Vinitaa Jha Executive Vice President, Medical Education & Research, Dr. Vanita Mittal, General Manager, Academics from Max Healthcare; Nikita Zhvachkin, Head of the Corporate and Financial Institutions Department, Sberbank India, Ms Elena Barman, Head of Education, Air Marshal Dr Pawan Kapoor (Retd.), Vice Chairman and Mr Syed I. Rigan, Managing Director from Rus Education.
Soon after the ceremony, the students and parents were escorted to the Indira Gandhi Airport, New Delhi. The students and parents bid their good-byes and farewell to each other. As we await for the arrival of these students at the OrSMU campus, we convey our thanks to our dear partner Rus Education, that has actively helped us to reach the determined and devoted Indian students in conquering their goal of becoming a doctor.
