OrSMU Participated at the 24th Russian Education Fair 2023, India

Russian Education Fair is one of a kind event held every year in different cities in India for admission drive to the Top Russian Universities. This year, the 24th Russian Education Fair 2023 was successfully held in 5 cities in Delhi, Patna, Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai. The event showcased an immense success where a large crowd of Indian aspirants flock the event in every city, expressed their interest in pursuing higher education at the Top Universities in Russia.

Apart from Orenburg State Medical University, the first Russian Education Fair for the year 2023 brought along renowned government universities of Russia including Perm State Medical University, Mari State University, Tula State University, St Petersburg University, and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

The fair was inaugurated on May 14th, 2023, by the Director of Russian House, New Delhi, Mr. Osipov Oleg, Head of Education from Russian House, Delhi, accompanied by a representative from the Embassy of the Russian Federation in India, along with Ms. Elena Barman in the presence of Air Marshal Dr. Pawan Kapoor, Vice Chairman of Rus Education and other members of Rus Education.

Various delegates from top Russian universities participated at the fair to resolve all the queries and concerns of the Indian students. This includes Prof. Liashchenko Diana, Professor of the Department of Anatomy, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Orenburg State Medical University. Other representatives included Ms. Gladkova Olga, Head of the Institute of International Education, Tula State University; Ms. Lopach Olesia, Head of the Admissions Office for International Applicants; Ms. Butlerovskaia Angelina, Specialist of Admissions Office for International Applicants of St Petersburg University; Prof. Oseian Daiana, Teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language of Perm State Medical University; Prof. Tretiakova Luliia, Assistant Professor of the Polyclinic Therapy Department of Perm State Medical University; Ms. Bastrakova Natalia, Deputy Director of Work with Foreign Students of the Medical Institute, of Mari State University.

Throughout the fair, Prof. Liashchenko Diana, make every effort to deliver the best opportunity for Indian students seeking to pursue higher studies in Russia, especially MBBS in Russia at Orenburg State Medical University. Many students and parents who attended the event in different cities interacted with the professor and gain valuable experience and knowledge about the university, the programs offered, the admission process, discounts on admission, scholarship seats, personal counselling, and more.

The Fair concluded on a successful note in Mumbai on May 21, 2023, with the participation of several distinguished individuals. Among the esteemed personalities in attendance was H.E. Mr. Aleksei V. Surovtsev, the Consul General of Russia in Mumbai, who graced the event with his presence. Prof. Shvetsov Mikhail N., the Rector of Mari State University, also honored the fair with his esteemed presence. Additionally, Ms. Elena Remizova, the Director of the Russian House in Mumbai, contributed to the event's success with her active involvement. Air Marshal (Dr.) Pawan Kapoor (Retd.), Vice-Chairman of Rus Education, along with other senior members of the organization. Their presence played a pivotal role in ensuring the fair's smooth operation and positive outcome. Their presence added prestige and expertise to the event, further enhancing the opportunities for students and parents to engage with representatives from leading Russian universities.

Among the attendees at the Fair, a few of the students enrolled for MBBS at Orenburg State Medical University. Overall, students and parents satisfactorily availed several benefits from the Russian Education Fair 2023.
