Mumbai, October 27, 2025 — The air at the Russian House in Mumbai buzzed with joy and pride as Indian medical graduates from Russia gathered for Vipusk 2025, a grand MBBS graduation ceremony hosted by Rus Education.
The event honoured the graduating classes of Orenburg State Medical University (OrSMU), one of Russia’s most renowned medical institutions.
For the young doctors who had spent years navigating rigorous coursework and the rewarding journey of studying medicine abroad, the evening was the closing chapter of one dream and the beginning of another. They walked across the stage to receive their degrees to mark the successful completion of their medical education in Russia.
The event opened in the presence of distinguished guests, including Mr. Victor Gorelykh, Director of the Russian House in Mumbai, and Air Marshal (Dr.) Pawan Kapoor (Retd.), Technical Advisor at Rus Education. Their presence lent warmth and significance to an already emotional evening.
The ceremony reflected the essence of Indo-Russian collaboration. As each graduate received their MBBS degree from Russia, the hall echoed with pride, joy, and a deep sense of accomplishment.
The evening also served as a reunion, a chance for graduates to reconnect with old friends, mentors, and university representatives. The event concluded with a warm dinner gathering, where laughter and memories flowed as freely as the conversations about the future.
Vipusk 2025 was more than a ceremony for the graduates of Orenburg State Medical University. It was the moment their years of determination took tangible form. From their first day in Orenburg’s classrooms to their final clinical rotations, each step had shaped them into confident and compassionate doctors ready to serve the world.
