OrSMU Holds Diwali Celebration For Indian MBBS Students

Orenburg State Medical University, one of the pioneer medical universities of Russia, hosted a grand Diwali celebration for its Indian students studying MBBS in Russia on Monday, 24th October 2022 within the university campus. As the university is home to more than 1200 Indian students, the university decided to organize the celebration of this most significant festival of India in Russia for the students.

The entire campus was lit in fairy lights to bring in the positive Diwali vibes and a traditional Lakshmi Puja was also organized to seek the divine blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha on this auspicious festival. The students came dressed in their best Indian attire and celebrated the festival with happiness with their friends. The staff of the university also participated in the Diwali celebrations.
