Telugu students at Orenburg State Medical University, brought festive vibes as they celebrated the festival of Sankranthi with much enthusiasm and cultural unity at Armada Hostel. The celebration brought together students and amped up the spirit of togetherness amongst them.
To make it more festive, students prepared over 25 traditional food items, showcasing their culinary talent and the rich Telugu culture. A spread of authentic Telugu dishes including sweets and festive delicacies was prepared by the students, highlighting their joint effort and dedication toward their culture.
An atmosphere of warmth and brotherhood was created at the event. It further strengthened the cultural bond and unity among the students. Such events encourage students to stay connected to their roots. It also generates mutual respect amongst students belonging to different communities.
The Sankranthi celebration at Armada Hostel conveyed that staying in a foreign land and studying abroad doesn’t stop the students from celebrating their traditions and culture.
