The festive spirit of Navratri illuminated the campus of Orenburg State Medical University (OrSMU) as students, faculty, and staff came together to celebrate one of India’s most joyful cultural traditions. The event was marked by vibrant decorations, traditional music, and energetic dance performances that filled the venue with life and color.
The celebration was graced by Rector Professor Miroshnichenko Igor Vasilevich, Vice-Rector Kuvandikovna Tatyana, Dean Prof. Mironchev Anton Olegovich, and Chairman & Founder of Rus Education, Prof. Dr. S. K. Washim, whose presence made the event even more special. Their participation reflected the university’s commitment to supporting multicultural experiences and creating a welcoming environment for international students.
Students dressed in traditional attire participated in Garba and Dandiya dances, celebrating unity, joy, and devotion. The lively beats and colorful performances brought together people from different cultures, turning the evening into a heartwarming experience, a true “home away from home.
