Orenburg State Medical University has been a hub spot of diversity, and is always on the lookout for the opportunities to celebrate it. Recently, the university had organised the grand Diwali celebration and one more opportunity of celebration and appreciation arrived on 1st November 2022.
Along with thousands of the international students, the university is proud to be the host to 1200+ Indian medical students. Globally, India is known to be a land of distinctiveness with diversified culture. The 1st November 2022, was an historically important day for the students belonging to Kannada speaking communities.
Kannada Rajyotsava, also known as Karnataka Formation Day or Karnataka Day, is celebrated on the 1st day of November every year. The South-Indian state, Karnataka is known for its rich cultural heritage. The exquisite literature, phenomenal architecture and phenomenal dance and music has now become the identity of the state world-wide.
The students of OrSMU celebrated the festival with much enthusiasm. The celebration was a happy affair with several students joining the fun. Some of the students also took this opportunity to showcase the pride of their culture.
The humble yet exciting celebration concluded with lots of happiness and laughter.
