On 21st December 2025, the Fresher's Party at Orenburg State Medical University turned out to be an event to remember, with a warm welcome to the freshman class. This event saw active participation by students, faculty members, and distinguished dignitaries.
This event was attended by the top university authority, represented by the university rector, Prof. Igor Vasilevich, and also the university Dean, Dr. Anton Olegovich Mironchev. Their presence had a profound impact on the students as it bridged the gap between the university authority and the students.
Adding prestige to the occasion were esteemed representatives from the Embassy of India, Moscow, including H.E. Mr. Vinay Kumar, Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation, and Ms. Babita, Attaché at the Embassy of India, Moscow. The gathering was also honored by Prof. Dr. S.K. Washim, Founder and Chairman of Rus Education, who shared insightful guidance and inspiring words with the students.
Organized under the guidance of the Indian Student Representative, Dr. Ashok Patel, the program featured colorful cultural performances by students, beautifully reflecting diversity and talent on an international platform.
The dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the organizers and encouraged students to remain committed to academic excellence, discipline, and cultural harmony.
The Freshers Party concluded on a cheerful and motivating note, leaving the new students feeling confident, welcomed, and proud to be part of the OrSMU family.
