Breaking Fast, Building Bonds: Iftar Night at Orenburg State Medical University

As the sun set, the fast ended and the smiles began.

Students at Orenburg State Medical University came together for a warm and joyful Iftar evening. The hall was softly lit with Ramadan decorations, creating a peaceful and welcoming vibe. Tables were filled with dates, fruits, juices, and delicious dishes from different cultures.

Everyone broke their fast together, starting with dates and water, sharing a quiet moment of gratitude after a long day of fasting. Soon after, students offered Maghrib prayer in congregation.

Then came the best part, food and conversations. From biryani and samosas to Middle Eastern favorites and simple homemade meals, every dish reminded someone of home. Students from different countries sat side by side, enjoying the meal and the feeling of togetherness.

For many international students living far from their families, this Iftar was more than just dinner. It was comfort, friendship, and a sense of belonging.

The evening ended with laughter, group photos, and happy memories.

One table. Many cultures. One beautiful student family.
